Bus Terminal project for Champawat, Uttarakhand is a public infrastructure project undertaken for designing the bus terminal to facilitate proper movement of buses, facilities for passengers, parking space, and commercial facilities in the terrain. The project entails basement parking facility for two-wheelers & four-wheelers, 14 Bus bays, office area, rental offices, restaurants, shops, toilets, driver dormitories, banquet hall, service area, and other public facilities.

My Role: In my part, I carried out planning scheme, working drawings, site planning on contoured terrain with levels, 3D visualizations, and walk through.

Since the project site location is located on contoured topography, the design process required extensive planning based on the study and use of contours to arrive at the appropriate levels for constructing structures, basement parking, bus bays, entrance/exit access, and vehicular movement. The planning process considered various aspects including topographical levels, road connectivity, pedestrian circulation, commercial use, parking requirements, and separation of vehicular and pedestrian movement.
