Children Traffic Awareness Park, Haridwar, Uttarakhand is a public infrastructural project which is mainly based on creating awareness among kids about traffic rules and road safety. There is a full road track system in the park where kids can practice driving along with other facilities such as one workshop building, one toilet block, cafeteria building, surface parking, landscaping area, and water body.

My Role: My task included planning scheme, working drawings, visualization views and presentation material of the project. This project provided me an opportunity to work on an educational public facility which was based on landscape planning, activity based learning and architectural visualization.

Road track has been designed by incorporating various movement patterns, road signs, pedestrian crossings, and traffic related issues. The park has some interesting designs like walk-over bridge, dummy police station, dummy gas station, dummy hospital and many more such activity based designs which can be used by the kids to learn about their road discipline and urban public facilities.
