Housing Complex at Rudrapur, Uttarakhand is a Group Housing Project based on site area of 7217.81 sqm / 1.78 acre. The design involves housing of Type-2, Type-3, Type-4 & Type-5 apartments totaling 90 apartments, community hall, temple, stilt parking, basement parking along with various other residential facilities. Stilt + 7 floors is the maximum height proposed for the buildings.

My Role: In the project I was involved with the planning scheme and working drawings for the residential blocks and other related project components. The project helped me get involved in apartment planning, development of unit layouts, parking planning and residential drawings.

Planning in the design was based on efficiency in the residential plan and zoning among residential blocks, parking areas and community areas along with pedestrian movement. The aim of planning was to get functional apartment planning, circulation, site utilization and residential atmosphere with facilities.
