The Champawat Master Plan and Golju Corridor at Champawat, Uttarakhand are landmark tourism development projects undertaken under the Swadesh Darshan 2.0 Scheme. Spread across 108,682.6 sqm (26.85 acres), the project aims to strengthen the region's tourism potential while preserving its cultural and natural heritage.
The development includes various components such as hotels, cafeteria buildings, wellness centers, administrative facilities, public amenities, and a stadium, integrated within a comprehensive master planning framework. The project focuses on creating a well-organized destination that supports religious, cultural, and eco-tourism activities.

My Role: As part of the planning team, I was involved in the planning and development of multiple building blocks across the site. My responsibilities included spatial planning, functional zoning, circulation planning, and coordination of various project components. I also contributed to the 3D visualization team, preparing presentation models and visual representations of the proposed development.
Design Approach
The design approach focused on creating a visitor-friendly and sustainable environment that enhances the tourism experience while respecting the unique character and identity of the Kumaon region.
